The rogue suddenly becomes invisible after taking a hit from Montroya's hand of radiance. Jarel Still knows where the rogue is and attempt to rope him but fails.
Jarel hears a sinister laugh, the fey rogue is playing with his mind. Suddenly he reappears and a vicious strike sends Jarel flailing back, tumbling far more then he needed to. But some fey magic is at work here...
The Lieutenant ignores Montroya and charges Jarel. Montroya makes a wild swing at his enemy as he passes by but it just underscores that he is not a fighter.
The lieutenant strikes Jarel down and the arcane warrior drops to the ground.
