Tylara, let the man's words pass. The slender elf maiden bedecked with weapons might look like a 'lad' to him. She wasn't much of a meat eater, but her hunger this day was fierce.

After he directs you over to the lounge area adjacent to the barroom and restaurant, and gets you all in comfy chairs with the beverages of your choice, Boris Stenker says, "Say, you fellows ..." he quickly looks at Tylara and corrects gimself, "Er, lady and felows that is ... seems as if you might be interested in something of a queer occurrance around here. This man has been showing up most every evening. He comes in, orders three large goblets of dragon's blood and downs them one right after another with amazing speed. And then he leaves. Just walks right out! Isn't that odd?" Boris looks each of you in the eye, and sensing that you're just not getting it, he continues, "But don't you see? dragon's blood is the stoutest drink we serve here at the Lonesome Drake! Why, I've known strong young farmers who couldn't even say their own names after drinking* one glass of dragon's blood! And this ... this ... gentleman drinks THREE! Every single time he sets foot in the place! 'T'ain't natural, I tells you."

"It's pretty early in the day to be doing that, but if you're sure ... that'll be 1 gp per shot." Boris, in turn, looks at Capizzio dubiously.

Cappizzio removes the gold piece, flipping it over his fingers, looks to the others then hands it to Boris, "Good sir, draw the poison. in honor of Manny."

"Oh, yeah, isn't that what ye call the little feller that'u with you last time? Where is he?"

Cappizzio points to the un-drunk mug of ale. With a deep sigh he stares at the empty seat. "He is the one who did not make it out with us."

Kerlan is quiet and thoughtful about their lost companion. When Cap orders the hard liquor he just looks at him askance and shakes his head. He looks forward to the promised food, however. "What was this unusual person's name?"
