Can Endurance move through Gnash's space as difficult terrain (or really, can any of us move through each other's spaces as difficult terrain)? That's the general rule. Just want to make sure I understand the situation before getting caught between our folks and possible enemies.

Couple of things:

1. You can move through a non-hostile creature's space. It is considered Difficult Terrain, which incurs a penalty of doubling the distance moved. That is, if you move 5 feet through a non-hostile creature's space, it counts as having moved 10 feet. (PHB, Page 190)

2. I cannot find the rules on charging, so I cannot rule on whether or not you can charge if you have to move through a non-hostile creature's space. If someone can point me to the rules, I'll be happy to review.

3. Actions happen as they are posted. So if Endurance ends up posting before Gnash, Endurance's actions will take place before Gnash's. The only thing Initiative is used for is to determine which side goes first, you or the enemy.

Sorry, Egon -- we're just talking through things at this point, I believe.

2. There is no formal "charge" action (separate form the "Charger" feat, which is not relevant). However If the minotaur takes a dash (i.e. double move) he can still attack, and if he attacks (rathe than dashes) [and I presume this is with a non-horn weapon, though it doesn't say so] he gets an attempt to shove. That's what I'm thinking, at least.

3. Very good.

(Animal handling needs Wisdom? If we want to try this, Endurance has +3, and if someone trained (as he is not) helped, that would be with advantage. Maybe I'm misunderstanding).

That's great - awesome. Endurance can't help, though, since he's not proficient; it'd be nice to have advantage on this.
