how do "miss chance" abilities stack/overlap?

Aura of Unluck and Blur both give him a 20% miss chance. I am not familiar with Entropic Warding, but assuming it also provides a 20% miss chance, your character benefits from a 20% miss chance against ranged and melee attacks. The miss chances do not stack (PH 152). No. The spell does not...

    Spear Specialization

Check out the Stormlord PrC in Complete Divine. They get special abilities with both javelins and spears.

    Halflings & Weapon Damage

I will assume 3.5 rules unless you say otherwise. You can certainly wield a medium light crossbow or medium shortsword, two-handed and one-handed respectively. Since you are small and the weapons are sized for medium creatures, you incur a -2 penalty on your attack rolls.

    DR and movement

Ordinarily, DR does not apply to spells, only SR applies. However, the text of this spell does say the following: Any creature moving through the area also takes 1 point of nonmagical piercing damage for each 5 feet moved. Therefore, in this case, I think DR should apply to the damage, and I...

    Ghoul Touch

I agree. After all, even a real ghoul's paralyzing touch grants a Fort save to negate.

Summon Monster: What does "1d3 creatures of the same kind" mean?

I think Nail hit himself on the head. If you summon 1d3 elementals of the same kind, they will all be the same kind (all fire or all air, for example).

    Elemental damage and DR

Yes, it takes the fire damage because DR does not reduce energy damage.

    "Caster Level"

For a quick reference, check the PHB, page 89, under Feat Name, Prerequisite, in the first column. It says the caster level prerequisite for feats is a "class level that a character must have in order to acquire this feat." So the OP's class levels are 2 and 3 and his character level is 5. In...

    "Caster Level"

No, your caster levels are 2 and 3. If you need a caster level of 5 to take an item creation feat, then you don't qualify yet. One of your spellcaster classes needs to be caster level 5.

Healing Constitution Damage and Hit Points

Your player is correct. The HP loss was concommitent (sp?) with the ability damage, so when the ability damage is healed the HP gain is concommitent. IOW, the damage dealt by the poison was not HP damage, but Con damage. Think of Restoration as a Cure X Wounds applied to ability damage...

How does Divine Shield (CW) work?

It is an unnamed bonus so it stacks with everything.

    False Life Stacks?

Correct. But if you have False Life and then do a Vampiric Touch, those temporary hit points stack. The new FAQ entry suggests you keep track of the temporary hit points seperately so that you know when a particular spell ends.

C&C Demon Princes & Lords conversion.

10% magic resistance means that the spellcaster fails on 2 numbers if you are using a d20. So the SR should be 3. If the spellcaster rolls a 3 or better on the d20 roll, he penetrates the creature's SR. I would enjoy seeing any conversions you make. The Troll Lords have said, however, that a...

    (double posted thread...)

Talk to the rogue in your group. He can sneak attack the grappler because he will be denied his dex to AC to anyone that's not you. The best way for you to avoid being grappled is to procure a ring of freedom of movement. You cannot be grappled while you wear it.
