I agree with you on nearly every point. All I'd add is that 4E did a lot of things better, but took away the uniqueness to characters in the process. We need the fluff back too. It's just lost its fantasy atmosphere on a lot of different levels.

In the Rules Compendium it says you can't take any *further* actions after charging. It clearly says that after you charge you cannot then do anything else (except a free action), which is fine. The problem is, it doesn't say you can't do a move action, and *then* charge as your standard. It...

As the subject. I remember in older editions they used to 'puff' go away, unless they were 'gated'... etc. I remember reading *somewhere* that they now just die. That's it. If that's so, could someone please point to the source as well? It's driving me crazy.
