The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
The opponent is still grappled until they break free. But since Pinning and Crushing are results of a successful grapple attack, you have to make a grapple attack each time you want to Pin and Crush them.
I think:
1) Diverting Defense would still work as long as the attackers are in flanking positions and you affect one with your Dodge feat, even if they don't get a bonus to attack due to flanking.
2) You could make a trip with an unarmed attack from Cause Overreach but only tripable weapons...
I don't mind out-of-character joking but any camp in-character ruins the feel that I like in a game. Any camp makes it seem like many anime shows, and that's not my cup of tea.
Dimensional Shackles from the DMG. "These shackles have golden runes traced across their cold iron surface. Any creature bound within them is affected as if a dimensional anchor spell were cast upon her (no save). They fit any Small to Large creature. The DC to break or slip out of the shackles...
In a Star Wars game our bountyhunter group had to retrieve a piece of art. My character handed it off to my brother's character and then got caught by the people we stole it from.
Enforcer: "Where's the sphere?"
Me: "It's too late, I already handed it off to the Jawa."
Enforcer: "We'll find...
I'm no expert but I think the 225 silver is to see whether or not the item is completed, not the price it took to make it. I think that should be 1/3 of the normal cost.
If you want you can make checks by the day instead of by the week:

A "Bad" in my opinion is adding the Bellow as a racial ability of Ithorians. I thought it was silly in the Clone Wars and making it now a racial ability is the kind of re-write that frustrates me about Episodes 1-3.
We're playing in a Rebellion Era game after Episode IV (and looking for players, if anyone in Baltimore is interested! wednesdayboy[at]gmail[dot]com). Wingsandsword pretty much hit the nail on the head for me too. I love the Rebellion and New Republic eras, the Yuuzhan Vong did not capture any...
To Craft Alchemical items the rules say "You must be a spellcaster to craft any of these items." Does that mean you must have levels in a spellcasting class or does having Spell-Like Abilities count as well?
For example: could a Gnome Rogue get any use out of its Craft (Alchemy) racial bonus...
Thanks for the input, all. It sounds like there isn't anything special to keep in mind for FR kobolds. Just play the lizardy little buggers like I would in any setting!
Is there any source for general information on kobolds (how people view them, culture, regions, etc.) in the Forgotten Realms setting? Or are they just as they appear in the Monster Manual? Thanks!
I agree about the gear comments. When I played that hurt the game greatly because the session would stop for a long while as each person leafed through the pages of gadgets. If I was running a game I would drop the mechanical aspects that are listed in the book, let the players describe what...
Don't forget Leia, she was pretty darn impressive when she put an end to poor Jabba!
At the Battle of Endor, Han's pretty accurate with his blaster. And Chewie was accurate enough to hit a moving speederbike and take it out in one shot.
