A ten episode Netflix series based on the best selling cyberpunk novel. Looking good so far.

From what little they show (and I prefer when they don't give everything away in a trailer) it looks good. It's been a while since we had a good Cyberpunk show.

I'd really like to see a faithful rendition of "Johnny Mnemonic" or "Burning Chrome" though.

A tv series starring the characters from Burning Chrome would kick several levels of hardboiled cyberpunk posterior.

Many of his characters thread through many of his novels and short stories. Molly Millions is one of my all-time favourite literary characters and she got screwed over in the Keanu Reeves flick.

The visuals are spot on.

The Altered Carbon universe is great, but the first book was terrible. Never could finish it. Too many gratuitous elements. Too much useless moments where the plot doesn't move foreward or we learn nothing about the characters. Still, because of the universe this could be a great sci-fi TV show.

Read the book. Liked it. Should be good.
I just had to check if I had already read it. Alas, I haven't. I even seem to have forgotten to put it on my wishlist.
I had definitely meant to add it after reading 'Black Man / Thirteen' by the same author which I rather enjoyed. Gotta make up for it right now...
