Anyone from QC/Y a-t-y des québécois icitte?

In the spirit of another thread on this board, I was wondering how many quebecers were lurking about around here ? Anybody gaming in Montreal ? How about in other regions of the province ? I'm in Rimouski, myself.

In true Quebec spirit, here is the French version of this post :

Je suis un jouer montréalais (Je reste au Plateau Mont-Royal, pas loin de le Valet d'Coeur sur rue St-Denis! Tu le conait?)...

However, I must confess my written french isn't very good. Maybe even painful to read As an allophone/anglophone I run my games in english. I wouldn't mind improving my french in a francophone game some day, but time and the priorities of RL dictate otherwise for now...

Hey your written French isn't that bad. I've read worse coming from francophones !

I know Le Valet pretty well. I did my B.Sc. in Biology at UQAM. Used to go Game Shopping there all the time. I spent way too many hours and way too many dollars there... Still do from time to time.

To answer one of your question, RL doesn't have an exact translation in French. You can always use "la vraie vie", most people do...

Eh bien Salut! Moi aussi, je suis un joueur Québecois. Ça fait plaisir de voir des québecois ici. Moi, j'habite sur la rive sud, à Longueil, dans l'arrondissment Saint-Hubert. J'ai suivi des cours de Création Littéraire à L'UQAM, et des cours de dessins au Studio Apocalypse.

Translation: Well Hello! I'm also a Quebecois Gamer. It's nice to see more Quebecers here. I live on South Shore at Longueil, in the Saint-Hubert neighborhood. I took classes in Creative Writing at UQAM, and art lessons at Apocalypse Studio.
