While curiously looking over the three items, ring, letter, and scrollcase, Kerlan responds. "No. As I'm sure our fine ferocious friend here would agree, we need to move on in case something heard all that noise. If there's no objection, let's get moving." Kerlan moves over to join Simeon and goes to continue the journey.

Underdark-Quest :The Vault of Larin Karr, Cont
The Wizards and Simeon trek onward into the bowels of the Underdark. After another 2 or so miles headed generally westward, you see up ahead a smaller passageway branching off of the one where you are to the south. There is a very large amount of moss growing in this area, seemingly extending from where you are now up to the side-passage and perhaps beyond, but it is of course hard to be sure with the lighting conditions being what they are.
The Maniacal Mariner Captain Olaf Grimm has not put in any further appearances that you've noticed. You each notice, however, that all of the others are starting to get a bit 'punchy,' whirling around to look behind themselves occasionally, dodging bats that aren't there, and stuff like that. But of course, each is totally convinced that he is immune to such things.
