OOC: Anyway, is Simeon going to tell the wizards what he sees or is he just going to let them figure it out? Personally, that's what I'd do. Serves 'em right, I say! :p

[sblock=spoor]
spoor: 1) a track, a trail, a scent, or droppings, esp. of a wild animal; 2) a trace by which the progress of someone or something may be followed

So you see, droppings are only one example of spoor, and not necessarily the best one, either. :p

"We be very close to them bast---, um to the Crushed Skull tribe." Simeon says hefting his shield to settle it into place. "Everyone needs to be a read and maybe prepare themselves for a fight, just in case."

OCC: Thought he did. NOTE should say "be a ready" not "be a read" :blush:
Simeon will always go back to warn the group if he sees anything out of the ordinary. Like old socks and trash and what not.

Kerlan keeps a careful eye out for trouble as they go through the "secret door".

OOC: Woah there Kerlee! Simeon was out in front, last time I checked, and he was continuing down the UnderDark passage, as I read his post. That's fine if you want to go that way, but don't be saying, "as they go through the 'secret door,' " until "they" confirm that "they" are indeed going that way.

OOC: Spellcraft checks for all those inspecting the formations surrounding the cleverly hidden portal, please?
DC 19

At the back of the 'concealed' alcove is a small passage scarcely more than 5 feet across that varies in height from 7-9 feet in height. There are much more natural stone fomations here (stalactites, stalagmites, and even some seemingly naturally formed columns) than in the Primary UnderDark Passageways. The passageway heads off to the northwest for as far as you can see.
OOC: Dungeoneering checks, everyone, please? DC 25

Simeon is glad he has been going back over the groups trail every now and then to make sure the group can not be followed since leaving Sebruce tied up. (ranger ability)

Now with this secret area located he may not have to worry as much. The half-orc takes a look about the area as he waits for the others to catch up.

There's something not quite right about the stone where this cave formation is, but after looking and wondering, Simeon decides that it is just rock after all, so he proceeds on through it and doesn't think more about it. The cave-passage on the other side of the portal is much more cozy and confined. Simeon remembers his home was like this without so much empty space around, that either makes him feel good or bad, depending upon how he feels about his life growing up.

Francheska looks over the formations with the others. She knows nothing about dungeoneering, but she knows quite a bit about exquisite spellcraft.

"This looks like something Mother and father would appreciate" Cappizzio looks over the door and surrounding formations very carefully.
