Ke Huy Quan is going to get typecast in multiverse stories! (Honestly, it's fantastic to see him. Cast him in everything.)

Loki seems to prefer to go hands-on with his dagger, based on past performance, and uses his powers to make the most of that. The more flagrant use of power seems unusual.

One of the big complaints about season 1 was how little Loki used his magic. Yes, his magic didn't work inside the TVA, but he did very little with it outside the TVA either. It looks to me like maybe the show's producers heard those complaints and have decided to have him use his magic more in this season.

I like the idea that Loki is getting more comfortable and confident in himself, rather than using arrogance as a mask, and he’s pushing his power further as that happens.

I just hope he actually does stuff this season. Last season he pretty much just reacted to what Sylvie did and seemed like a guest star in his own show.
