There's a couple of things I might still tweak. Cantrip selection; I was weighing Ray of Frost versus Electric Arc for its better damage and range. Also considering a specialization school rather than Universalist. Many options. Still, I wanted to get the chance to open up to comment/correction at this stage, since the character is quite workable as-is.

Is it just me, or are Magic Items just super complicated and even cumbersome?

i.e., as i look toward possible items for a level 4 character, things like Bracers of Missile Deflection catch my eye for a 3rd level permanent item...but then descriptions like this deter me: "Once you activate the bracers, you can’t do so again for 10 minutes."

'hey DM, mind tracking my items that have 10 minute reset timer?'

Even worse, it looks like you have to choose to use it based on a ranged attack TARGETING you, not HITTING you. So you conceivably use it only to find that it Hits you anyway, or would have totally missed you even had you not used it. THEN you can't use it again for 10 minutes.

Shayuri, looks good, I think. Technically Perception is no longer a skill. But that's not important. Jump into the IC and post to the RG.

Just assume the steward leads you into the dining room and you can give whatever excuse for being late that you want.

looking towards a 4th level PC. I have a concept for a gnome barbarian or maybe ranger who rides his animal companion. Need to find a meduim creature, one size up from small, for a mount...

maybe a Bear (noted as grizzly, a brown, or black bear)... look up Animal Companions-Bear: size=small

oh ye lords of game mechanics! what tomfoolery is this?!... can it be, perhaps, this is just a bear cub?

:)

Nope. Companion Bond is the class feat at 4th. It gives your Hunter bonus to your companion. Full Grown Companion is 6th level.

Gah! You said druid. You're right about druids! Sorry. I missed the druid qualifier there. :)
