So unless you decide to linger at the hole you dug, I think you have escaped the oozing Temple.

Level up to 4th level. NPCs will stay at level 2. They'll go to level 3 when you hit 5.

So where from here? Back to the ruins of Sloobludop to see if you can retrieve any supplies and maybe some boats? Follow the path along the lake toward Gracklstugh? Something else? Take a long rest here or wait until you are further away? (4th level benefits don't kick in until you complete a long rest).

If there are no signs of life left at Sloobludop, I'd be in favor of taking a look for boats/supplies, and possibly doing a long rest nearby if it seems safe.

My level 4 update, AC goes up by 1, because I am taking Medium Armor Master. Hp total stands at 33.

Finished updating my RG post. Summary:

Dex goes up by 2 (to 18).

AC goes up by 1 (Unarmored Defense). AC is now 17 normally, 18 if dual-wielding.

HP total is now 48.
