Difference between Star Wars and Revised Star Wars

This may have been covered before on these boards, but what is the difference between these two versions of the rules. Are they reason enough to buy another book?

RCR is IMO a better book. The main additions that I can recall are:

1. Armour adds a DR not a bonus to Defence.
2. Attacks of Opportunity are added.
3. Personal, Vehicular, Atmospheric and Space combat are all compatible.
4. More races, a new class and more prestige classes (more stuff in general).
5. Rules for Droid PCs.
6. Stats for Ep2.

Many of the races, classes, feats and skills have been rejigged.

i won't go into the specifics (those other threads have enough detail), but IMO yes, the RCR is worth getting.

I was able to read the entire Revised Edition cover-to-cover, a feat I was unable to pull off with the first one.

My game with the Revised Edition has been runing much smoother than the original as well!

I give it a thumbs up!
