Has anyone played the Sid Meier's Civilization board game? What are your thoughts? Whats is the good and what is the bad about it?

Also are there any Etailers where I might be able to buy it?

We played it once at a friends house. It was engaging, but took forever. After six hours, we hadn't finished! We don't that much time most days.

Definitely a long, long game to play. I'm a fan of hte computer game,but not really the board game.

If you want something similar though that plays faster, try Through the Ages. It is also easier to find.

It's a pretty awful game. There are better games out there. Way too much downtime in the advanced game.
