EVIL VERSION

Ahahahahaha! Finally, some evil plans to be had with 4e items!

Okay, we get a bunch of people to wear Bone rings of preservation (AV 156), pass a milestone, then go lie in the hottest part of the desert and fail their endurance checks. Lets say we get 100 people to do this. Pretty soon the sun is taking 1500 damage a round!

Muhuhahaha!

GOOD VERSION

Ahahahahaha! Finally, some good plans to be had with 4e items!

Okay, we get a bunch of people to wear Bone rings of preservation (AV 156), pass a milestone, then go somewhere comfortable and stop eating. Lets say we get 100 people to do this. Pretty soon world hunger is taking 1500 damage a round!

Muhuhahaha!

I'm not worried. Although the rules don't really cover objects larger than gargantuan — calling that 4×4 squares "and up" — we can consider the sun to basically consist of a bunch of cubes of that size. Give or take. Using the hit points for objects rules in the DMG, and even assuming the sun is made of a particularly fragile material (like, say, hydrogen and helium, mostly), it's going to take 98.773 trillion years for this tactic to make the sun bloodied.

And that's when your troubles start, because the sun gets to make a free Solar Flare attack against all planets in its threatened zone when it hits Bloodied.

okay okay, so the evil plan might be difficult. But evil is nothing but persistant!

As for ending world hunger. Even if 'Aspect of Hunger' was level 35 and a budy of Orcus, this plan might still work, right guys? Right?

A hunger vigil to end world hunger! Only this time using collossal reality bending misuses of magic. Ignore that last part and maybe you can get the worlds churches of Erathis, Pelor, and Bahumet to lend people to the cause.

OH YEAAAAAAAAH.
