Spiderman 4 and 5....

I don't think the Black Panther has any close association with Kraven the Hunter, or Spidey. Not unless there's been some retconning, which is always a possibility.
You may be right, but it's only natural to pit Kraven the Hunter against the Black Panther. Both personas originated from Africa (Kraven was a big game hunter, T'Challa born and raised there). You could begin the story with Kraven killing T'Challa's father -- either as sports or a contract hit.

Kraven would be a good villain if he was working for someone...like the Kingpin!
Unfortunately we'll likely not see the Kingpin in any Spider-Man movies, on account of him being licensed out as part of the Daredevil package.

Then again, I happen to be on the exact opposite page as a lot of folks when it comes to superhero movies: I don't cringe at the thought of having multipe bad guys in one film. I mean, guys like Kraven or Electro or Rhino don't really need the entire movie devoted to them. Instead, I'd like to see Spidey face off against different villains coming at him, kind of like in the Running Man.
I think a movie should only have one major villain. I wouldn't mind a short sequence with Spidey facing off against some second-stringer like Rhino though, or some other villain acting as a henchman for the main villain. But we don't need two villains getting the full-on treatment that Doc Ock or Green Goblin got in Spidey 1 and 2.

One way of making it easier to use multiple villains is recycling. If they used Ock as the main villain, they already have his backstory covered (and there's no way he didn't survive at the end of Spidey 2 - disappearing in murky water is a "comic-book death" if I ever saw one).

But before we get some villains, let's first get a good Spidey--one that can actually pull off the zingers. Tobey Maguire has a very weak voice. Am I the only one who thinks he sounds like a 14-year-old kid going through puberty?
I like that about him. Spidey is young. He's just starting college in movie 2 and 3.

Agreed. He's someone I can relate, either him or Jake Gyllenhal -- minus the Brokeback moments.

To be honest, if the fourth Spidey film is greenlighted, I hope they don't have Peter and MJ back together as BF/GF, but a clean slate and taking things slow.

I'd like Electro (with better costume) coming in and stealing Dr. Connor's invention, Spidey stopping him, and in the ensuing melee Connor got caught in the crossfire.

There's something to be said about being formulaic.

I like Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson. I hope she comes back.

As far as villains... Hmm. The Osbornes are dead. After the travesty that was Harry in the third movie, I don't think they need to revisit the goblins, even though I'd love to see a really good version of Hobgoblin on screen.

They've FUBARed Venom, so he's out. So's Carnage.

Never been a huge Kraven fan, but there are ways to make him work. I'd love to see Ben Kingsley or Patrick Stewart as the Vulture. ;)

I would vote Lizard, but for one issue. So far, every main* villain we've seen in a Spiderman movie has been the result of a scientific accident. I'd like to see them go a different route at least once before returning to that method.

*(I don't count Venom as a "main villain," given how little he was in the movie, and how poorly the character was orchestrated.)

You know, I think I'd like to see a movie with Vulture, Mysterio, and/or Chamelon--all characters with few if any powers, and are all basically tech-based. (Maybe even the Jackal, if we can avoid the whole cloning horsecrap.) It'd make for a nice change, and they're all under-used villains with real potential.

Well, the story did pretty much started with a scientific accident (Peter got bitten by a genetically-altered spider). ;)

I agree reminds me of krytovillians in smallville. I hate it, especially now that their not even in smallville anymore.

I take it you aren't going to read any future Superman Comics anytime soon considering that there are now more Kyptonians on earth then fleas on Krypto the Super Dog.
