Two-blades ranger with two bastards - kosher?

At least way back in the old days of 4E. The pre-Greatbow era...

Sorry, a melee ranger needs a +1 to hit over the ranged ranger to keep up on damage? Dual battle axes kept up with longbow damage. Dual war axes keeps up with greatbow damage. Bow is a +2 to hit weapon.

Historical bastard swords are quite light and balanced, something in the 3-4 lb. range. Although they were more often used two-handed, it's not a stretch by any means to have them be used one-handed, especially in heroic fantasy of D&D. Among some of the really goofy weapon styles to come out of this game, twin bastard sword usage is actually fairly mundane and reasonable.
Having recently seen a real one I have to agree, they really aren't that large. Our tour guide actually said they were used more often one-handed.

I find it to be min/maxing cheese, physically improbable and aesthetically repulsive.

But, it's not my game.

Enjoy if you so choose.

But remember to enjoy in moderation. ;)

Why is it physically improbable? That is a very humanocentirc view of the world. Racist. :)

I play a dragonborn with two huge swords. He is huge himself and processed of an enormous strength. I think it would be weird if he wielded two skinny swords.

Also I like cheese. it tastes good.
