Forums and Subforums - which, where?

After the forum restructure, I had the thought, that it might be better to put the OOC-forum (Talking the Talk) on top and the IC-forum (Playing the Game) as the subforum.

Why?

Because new folks coming here will likely post in the first forum, which right now is the IC-forum.

Of course, having the first forum called "Talking the Talk" wouldn't work very well either, so I would probably rename that into "Play-by-Post" or somesuch.

Question is... what do you think?

Which order is better?

A) OOC as main forum and IC (+ Living Worlds) as subforum

or (as it is now)

B) IC as main forum and OOC (+ Living Worlds) as subforum

Talking the Talk is so cluttered with misc. threads (like this one, great topic though) that I would suggest a third subforum.

Don't forget the Plots and Places forum, which is often used for Rogue Galleries.

So, how about a dedicated RG sub-forum

Play by Post (Mainforum: for other topics, like polls, greeting newbies,...)

Subforums (Edit: with Living Worlds, thanks Thanee):

IC
OOC
Peoples and Places (for characters, maps, etc.)
Living EN World
Living 4th Edition
Living Eberron

Yes, that was a thought I also had in that context (pretty much, what Walking Dad listed + the Living Worlds subcategory with the various Living Subforums (one per Living World as it is now)).

I will have to check, whether that is an option, because it goes beyond a simple switch (which would be no problem at all, as Piratecat already offered in Meta ).

See... to me I feel they have it right as is. The reason the OOC forum is needed is solely based on the IC forum existing. I feel the way it stands now allows the site to showcase the IC forum and the games therein as first and foremost whereas the OOC and other sub-forums are the grease and cogs behind the scenes....

I think the average user browses the ooc thread most, for new games and opens the IC thread main page only ones to do a subscription.

I think the Living Worlds should be first myself as they are one of the differentiating factors that this site has over the PbP on Wizards, Paizo, etc. sites. Everyone can do PbP, only Enworld (to my knowledge) has a living setting.

That being said out of the options listed, I went with OOC first, then IC. I don't really 'browse' the IC as WD pointed out, but I definitely browse Talking teh Talk.
