[Adventure]The Eye of the Tiger(Judge: ???)

[sblock=ooc]Ok, sorry to take so long to post... I'm a little confused about some stuff. What happened to the glidewing-mounted wizard? The glidewing should have been sucked in by the hypnotic pattern. Did it fall behind the moving airship due to being slowed?

Next question - can Roswyn target the square between the two trailing glidewings (H19 or H20) with a ranged burst, or does the ship's cabin or whatever it is block line of effect? It kind of looks like it might from the map, but then "E" was just able to target us with a ranged burst attack, so...[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]The glidewing W is riding was indeed left behind because it was slowed(it was pulled by the pattern initially). The multiple map idea to make things more clear seems to have backfired in the next case: The glidewing with E on it is actually at the front of the ship.(The one you are looking at belongs to the front view of the ship.) See the map with the side view. Don't worry about posting rate, I've got a lot on my plate right now, so my rate of posting is lacking too.[/sblock]

Gretta Charges down the deck to nip at the enemy warrior (H), but her jaws slide off his armor while Mitra closes in on the group of foes from the other side. Rohna smiles a fiery grin as Roswyn's pattern slides all the enemies on the deck close to her, and her skin morphs from its shiny black into a diamond like consistency that sparkles brilliantly in the sunlight. When the axe weilding hafling locks the goliath in his sights, the amber stones on her black bracers flair to life. Dragging her hammer out of the darter she had been standing next to, she crushes it deep into the chest of the warrior hafling, drawing his life force out and into herself. She continues to thrash around herself with the deadly weapon, spurred on by the number of enemies in its range. She gazes at the blood and gore dripping in heavy clumps from her black spiked hammer and she starts yelling at it. "Drink them all Kordestad! Their blood is for you!" The savage faces carved into the massive head of the mordenkrad do not respond...yet.

[sblock=ooc]Just a couple things, Gretta can not charge since she does not have a melee basic attack. She misses anyway, so I just moved her to where you wanted. Second: Should I assume you mark whoever you attack? With two defenders now I want to avoid confusion.[/sblock]

Thalen steps forward, seeing Rohna embattled on all sides, and raises her sword high. Crackling energy rides up and down her blade as she brings it down on the halfling in front of her. As it lands, the crash of thunder is heard, most acutely by her enemy. The blast leaves his ears ringing and his mind addled.

[sblock=ooc]Ah, I get it... I didn't realize that E was so far off to the side! That caused him to "bleed over" from the front view map into the top down map. But it's clear now.

But now that leaves me not sure what I should do... the enemies are almost in position for an awesome burst attack, but I'd have to target a PC as well... Tondrek still has a turn right? If he steps away or to the side I could get G/D1/H with a burst one. Or I can get H/D2/M the way things are now. At this point I kind of forget what G and M are... Are we just focusing fire on someone that I should just attack with a single target at will? (The daily burst I have left will slow and knock prone as an after effect, so I kind of wanted to use it against one of the guys still flying, which I guess I could still do...)

Oh and I could use an item power to maintain the hypnotic pattern for another round, but there doesn't seem to be much point... although H and D1 might well go down from Rohna's Rain of Steel, in which case the pattern could actually pull G and M into their spaces. (But again, who the hell are G and M anyway? :)) [/sblock]

OOC - Thalen's mark on H superceded mine, but yes I mark whoever I hit. G & M are Gretta & Mitra, Rohna's obsidian dog & spirit companion, which is why they are the same color as her ;).

Shava switches aim to the mass around the center of the ship. A massive bolt of lighting appear from the sky, slamming into one and surging to another. Shava manages to reign in the resulting thunder pop.

[sblock=ooc]Oops, in the latest map they got changed to the bright red color (due to being in the rain of steel zone) - that confused me. Glad I checked!

Ok, there is just no burst attack option that is good, I'll just use a wimpy single target attack...

Also, I'm sure you know this already, but you mark who you attack not just who you hit... and you can choose not to mark if you want.[/sblock]

Roswyn locks eyes with the struggling halfling near Rohna and sends a terrifying illusion straight into his mind.

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Illusory Ambush vs. H (w/CA) (1d20+12=32, 1d6+8+2=14) Crit! So damage is 14 (that +2 on damage was wrong, that was supposed to be on the to hit roll) plus crit damage of... 10 for 24 total. I imagine he's dropped (or will be by rain of steel).

In fact he might have already been dropped? If so then I think I'd probably target D1... -2 to attacks TENT if it matters. [/sblock]

[sblock=Judge]Yes. As does my LEB game now that Kalidrev is gone.[/sblock]Tondrek whistles to bring his iron construct at his side, then twists his oversized-right gauntlet into an odd shape. The gauntlet begins to ooze an acidic ichor and smacks the halfling upside the head. The acid runs down from the wound and eats way at the fighter's armor. Sick 'em! Tondrek calls, and Doggie gnashes at the wounded foe.[sblock=OOC]Minor ot move Doggie to F9; Scouring Weapon vs D1: AC 24, 15 acid and -2 to AC TENT Tondrek (stacks with other penalties). Use minor for Doggie to attack: Doggie (w/ Magic Weapon) vs D1: AC 17, 8hp; that's effectively AC 21 with the two debuffs on D1 (or 19 of Roswyn is not targeting D1).[/sblock] [sblock=Tondrek]Tondrek—Male Half-orc Artificer 8

Roswyn locks eyes with the struggling halfling near Rohna and sends a terrifying illusion straight into his mind. The halfling looks around in a panic, it's eyes wide beneath it's tribal mask. The halfling clutches at his chest, as his heart fails him, he falls slowly to his knees and then slumps over.

[sblock=ooc]H goes down.[/sblock]

Tondrek whistles to bring his iron construct at his side, then twists his oversized-right gauntlet into an odd shape. Tondrek calls, and Doggie gnashes at the wounded foe. The halfling through the pain of the acid is able to pull away from the steel construct in time.

[sblock=ooc]D2 and D1 are left on the deck. Just waiting on Venakhad.[/sblock]
