As Zharne kills the hatchling Martelai attacked, his rod flashes, spreading the curse all over the battlefield. Martelai dissapears in swirling light appearing next to Leonard.

"Boo." he says without mirth.

Minharath calls upon his deity but nothing happens.

Gloom Thorn and Gellan feel the stings and scratches from standing beside the thrashing creatures.

Kruthik Queen steps back and emits a shriek wail, the force of the sound focused upon Gellan, Thorn and Gloom. The sound sends a painful ringing throughout their heads causing both pain and physical discomfort.

One of the hatclings rushes forward and swings out at Gellan, cutting through only air.

One of the guardians lashes out at Gellan, delivering a nasty cut with it's jagged claw.

Gellan gets assaulted once again as another hatchling takes a swing at him, this one too only slicing the air in front of him.

The other Guardian steps between Thor and it's queen and swings at him. It's aim is just off, as it's claw skips off Thorns armor.

The remaining Hatchling scurries up to Gloom, swinging its claws out at him,
and finding a weak point in his armor.

The other swarm flows across the floor and surrounds Zharne once more, clawing and biting at him from a hundred tiny little creatures.

Guardian 1: Gnashing Horde; Gellan takes 2 damage for ending his turn adjacent to it.

Hatchling 5: Gnashing Horde; Gellan takes 2 damage for ending his turn adjacent to it.

Hatchling Swarm 2: Gloom takes 6 damage for starting his turn within the horde.

Kruthik Queen: Wave of Despair, vs Will; vs Gellan - 16, vs Thorn - 16, vs Gloom - 23. Hits everyone for 8 psychic damage, and the target is slowed and dazed (save ends both).

Hatchling 1 moves to K9 and attacks Gellan; 13 Vs AC - Miss

Guardian 1 attacks Gellan; 29 vs AC, hitting for 6 damage & then shifts to L10.

Hatchling 5 attacks Gellan; 6 vs AC - Miss, & shifts to L9

Guardian 2 shifts to J8 and attacks Thorn; 17 vs AC - Miss

Hatchling 4 moves to L7 and attacks Gloom; 20 vs AC - hits for 4 damage.

Swarm 1 moves to H6. Zharne takes 6 damage for starting his turn inside the swarm.

Martelai raises his rod high above the head and speaks in a heavy monotone voice. He then raises it to almost shouting:
"Mighty Ihbar, come down and consume these soulless beasts!"
The darkness descends over the cave, extinguishing light sources and life forces with equal ease. It lasts for but a moment and when it goes away few wounds on kruthik have putrefied, flesh falling out around them.

He then closes in on the Queen:
"By decree of Khirad, I'm taking over this hive. Minions, kill her!" the queen is used to giving such orders and easily repulses the magic of his words, just as her first guardian does. Others, however, look at the new master and obediently move and attack her.

"Now, Leonard, you may have your attack! Just stand behind me, please!"

Gellan stands motionless, fighting off the urge to vomit as the echoes of the queen's cry batter through his head. The courage of his ancestors buoys him up, however, and he brandishes his weapons with a renewed fervor.

:D I waited for a day between posting Martelai and Leonard actions, I was looking for ways to get CA...sure I can.

Wouldn't it be about time to use some APs and Dailies?
