I posted several converted monsters or fixed 3.5 versions (that were horribly done) and would really like your imput and comment on them. You guys do good work and argue important points that make sense.

thanx

Flattery will get you somewhere! :p

Would you post links to whichever converted/updated monsters you'd most like some comments on so I can have a look at them.

The only one I've seen recently is the Opossum, where I agree with you that we should have cut the disease (which was a holdover from the Dire version) and lowered the speed to something closer to a rat's.

Speaking of Rats, I think the SRD rat's speed is way too low, I'd prefer them to have a ground speed of at least 30 feet.

A healthy brown rat can run as fast as an olympic sprinter for short distances - about 25 mph. I'd either increase the ground speed to match a human, or keep them 15 ft. and add a Sprint SQ.

According to Answers.com rats can reach 35 mph, but that seems too high to me.

yea you have to watch the answer . com... too many crazies out there.... I stick to sources I can check, but agree with the rat...should be faster..

Yes, way too many nutcases out there.

We're far better off with the other sane folks on these forums, arguing about the mechanical aspects of imaginary monsters... :p
