Actually there is lots to discuss. The fact of the matter is, being called a grognard just because they don't like 4th edition and saying they only like it for "nostalgia" sake isn't right.
Sure, I think everyone can get behind that.
So.... what else?
I'm just throwing back punches after they've been thrown at me.
And here's the what else: You want to pick a fight. You're not responding to a thread, you're starting a new one. That's like saying, "That guy kicked my butt in the bar two weeks ago, so I'm not starting a fight, I'm just throwing back punches after they've been thrown at me!"
Here is the thing though. I have the right to start a thread that I believe in and yes anyone can join in but nobody forces anyone to click on that thread and actually post something.
Well, the bolded part is true enough, anyhow. Just like you don't have to respond to the threads discussing 4e that seem to annoy you so. Also, keep in mind that none of us have the "right" to do anything here, the site's owner allows us to. It's more like we're all guests in his house.
You threadcrap the 4e forum all the time. Don't be surprised, when you post a thread that comes across as anti-4e, or at least hostile to posters who support 4e,
in the 4e forum, if they are there to defend themselves and their points of view.
Now, I agree with you that "4e is better" or "3e is better" or "Pathfinder is better" or "od&d is better" or hell, "Monopoly is better" is just a matter of opinion. But your posts in this thread don't come across as reasoned argument, they come across as trying to pick a fight.
So: If there actually is something here to discuss- something other than "Don't be a jerk" and "Well, he started it!"- I would love to. Please enlighten me. My eyes, apparently, are terrible.
