Lucann seems to hesitate as he moves into action, not sure if it's the influence of creeping shadow magic or his own hesitation. He stops a short distance away from Thurgon, resigned to his role in these proceedings.
From behind Thurgon he speaks with authority: "We have all broken accords - in this day and days past. The lady Syllustra, Maiden of the Grove has been returned to my lady -
and to me. This rage is unbecoming of your station and your future role in restoring the relationship our people once had. For your own sake, and that of
my wife I cannot allow you to continue this hostility. It is not your place to bring justice to the children of the forest."
Lucann brings his spear to Thurgon's throat, but does not intend to strike. However, his words were sealed with the divine oath of She Who Walks the Forests of the World. Tendrils of electricity spark up and down Lucann's spear and lash out at Thurgon for interrupting her sanctuary.
Lucann feels the warm embrace of his lady as he is surrounded by a whirlwind of leaves. Although torn between love and friendship, Lucann finds a calm that he has been searching for all these years lost outside the wilderness.
