The chamberlain, the king, and the dragon (drobe)

Quinn struggles to stay on his feet as the cold numbs him, and he drags his near-frozen body to F15.

Small note: Quinn actually moved out of the zone in his last turn - he's in F15, not F13.

He can use a healing surge on his turn. He'll probably try to bargain with the patron to end the zone, unless someone else asks for his aid. (I believe that the patron powers the spell, and unless the patron has a reason to end it, it's still going to be there.)

Gotcha.

The two quicklings appeared out of nowhere, thankfully Theren was prepared for their assault. He knew they were somewhere in the brush and readied his great spear for their appearance. He sliced at blurs as they darted toward him, drawing blood and marking the first (Q1) for death as its blood covered his spear. He backhanded the second. Normal creatures would be felled by such blows, but these little creatures seemed unstopped in their momentum and cut at Theren with a hundred tiny cuts. He could feel his strength fading and knew that he needed to end this quickly or he'd end up feeding the plants in the garden.

Quickling 1 = 17 damage
Quickling 2 = 11 damage

Theren HP = 31/97

Relaxed Intensity
Lucann seems to hesitate as he moves into action, not sure if it's the influence of creeping shadow magic or his own hesitation. He stops a short distance away from Thurgon, resigned to his role in these proceedings.

From behind Thurgon he speaks with authority: "We have all broken accords - in this day and days past. The lady Syllustra, Maiden of the Grove has been returned to my lady - and to me. This rage is unbecoming of your station and your future role in restoring the relationship our people once had. For your own sake, and that of my wife I cannot allow you to continue this hostility. It is not your place to bring justice to the children of the forest."

Lucann brings his spear to Thurgon's throat, but does not intend to strike. However, his words were sealed with the divine oath of She Who Walks the Forests of the World. Tendrils of electricity spark up and down Lucann's spear and lash out at Thurgon for interrupting her sanctuary.

Lucann feels the warm embrace of his lady as he is surrounded by a whirlwind of leaves. Although torn between love and friendship, Lucann finds a calm that he has been searching for all these years lost outside the wilderness.

Move Action: 4 squares to J11
Minor Action: Oath of Enmity on Thurgon - marked until the end of my next turn.
Standard Action: Renewing Strike ([1d20+15]29 vs. Reflex, [1d20+15]29 vs. Reflex), Damage: 28(2d10+14), Use healing surge
Saving Throw vs. Slow: Failed (5)

hp:32/92
Surges: 5/8

Slowed

Campbell Just to confirm, you are using the Run Move Action this turn to get + 2 speed to give you speed 4 this turn (base speed of 2 for Slowed condition + 2 for Run). As such, you will be at - 5 to hit UtBoYNT (24 vs Reflex hits Thurgon's 24 Reflex) and give up Combat Advantage for the same duration.

LostSoul Quinn is up.

I'm a little confused on the initiative Order.

Q1 & Q2 - Quicklings
M - Minion Feygrove Chokers
C - Lucann
D - Dryad
T - Theron
S1 & S2 - Swarms
L - Quinn
P - Thurgon

I thought the Quicklings went, the Chokers went, Lucann just went, so isn't the Dryad up?

You and me both apparently! I had you and Quinn inverted in my mind.

The dryad is out of the fight. The successful Skill Challenge against her brought this about (akin to Intimidate post bloodied). She is prone in her square, possesses HPs, but is basically just Challenging Terrain until the fight is over. *** With respect to her current status Campbell, she doesn't become susceptible to the Swarms' venomous fangs and stingers aura as she still retains her mastery over these natural creatures. They don't appear to be turning on her to wash over her like a plague of insects. They are still focusing their respective hive minds on Thurgon.

However, you're up now, not Quinn. And then the Swarms. Then finally Quinn. And Thurgon afterwards.

So go ahead and take your full suite of actions.

Okay, I was just making sure. I thought I might have missed an action or power that moved Quinn up in the initiative order. Although I don't think my actions will impact any of their actions, I just wanted to make sure.

Posting.

Let me know if I mess any of this up. Some of the actions require the quicklings to be in various states. I'll post If/Then scenarios and you can let me know if any of them happen.

Theren readies himself for an assault on the quicklings, keeping them occupied long enough for Thurgon to do what was necessary. There were two of the little buggers and he didn't like those odds, especially not in his conditions. He didn't feel he could survive another duel attack. He'd need to focus all his attention on one and then turn his attention to the other. He was still feeling a bit confused about how many of the quicklings there were, they darted about so fast. He took a split second to clear his head before making his assult.

Dazed
Clearheaded Save (16+5=21) - No Action

Theren, feeling clear headed, makes a Driving Attack (Daily/Standard) against Q1 (marked), hoping to drive him back and remove begin flanked.

Driving Attack: 19+13-2=30 vs AC (Damage: 9+12=22)
- Target is pushed back 1 square and Theren shifts one to follow up and make another attack
- 19+18-2=35 vs Fort (Damage 9+3=12)
- Target is pushed back 2 squares and is prone.

Total Damage: 17(OA)+22(DA)+12(DA)=51

If the Quickling is Bloodied Theren will shift one square and Jackal Strike (Daily/Free Action)

Jackal Strike: 19+10-2=27 (Not sure if there's a benefit for target being prone) (Damage: 9+20=29)

Total Damage: 51+27=78

Scale Mail Armor (Daily/Minor)
You use your second wind and regain an additional 1d6 hit points per plus. 24+14=38 HP
As a result of using Second Wind the Defensive Greatspear grants +3 to all Defenses until the start of Theren's next turn. AC: 32, Fort: 30, Ref: 27, Will: 28

Assuming that all that is correct (which is might not be), I will use an action point.

If QI if still alive then I will cleave him (At Will/Standard)

Cleave: 19+1-2+10=28 (Damage: 9+6=15) Q1 take 4 ongoing damage (save ends)

If Q1 is dead, then use Charge to Glory (Encounter/Standard) against Q2

Charge to Glory: 19+1+1-2+9=28 (Damage: 9+8:17) and Q2 is prone.

I'll map all that up in fiction once I know what works and what doesn't.

@sheadunne All of your initial actions apply (with the Cleave as Cruel Cut). Note that (and this doesn't appear to be on your character sheet), your Paragon Path grants you this feature:

[sblock]

Myrmidon's Action (11th level)
: When you spend an action point to take an extra action, you can shift 3 squares as a free action before or after the extra action, and you gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls until the start of your next turn.

[/sblock]

Quickling 1 will be at 3 HP (51 [OA + DA * 2] + 29 [JS] + 15 [CC] + 4 [OG] = 99:102) after your Cruel Cut 4 ongoing applies at the beginning of his turn at the top of the next round. For expediency, please do 2 things now:

1) At the top of next round, Q1 (stand from prone as Move and Standard as Quick Cuts) and Q2 both miss you with Quick Cuts (this is their next round Standard Actions) @ 9/12 + 15 = 24/27 vs 34 (your SW bonus would be + 5 total; + 2 power bonus and + 3 item bonus for Defensive Greatspear) AC; 2 misses. Make an OA against them both (AC 29) with your Myrmidon's Action + 2 bonus applying. This will offset the - 2 for concealment so you'll be making your OA at + 4. If you hit Q1, he is dead. After that flurry, they will both be attempting to flee your wrath at the beginning of the next round so if we could resolve it now, that would be preferable. I don't see Quinn or Thurgon intervening in your melee. Q2 will also be using Quick Cuts to attack you and extract himself from this losing situation (especially if Q1 is dead). If you hit on your OA against him that will stop his movement from Quick Cuts but he will be spending his Move Action to get out of there afterward and attempt to Stealth. ** If you are using Parry and Riposte Immediate Reaction on Q2 (triggered on a miss against you or any ally), then please state so and resolve that as well. That will be at + 19 (Myrmidon Action + 2 and - 2 concealment cancel out) vs AC 25. **

2) Provide to me the square that you end up in at the end of your turn.

You can scribe what happens including the top of the next round interactions (however, something else will be happening at the top of next round but I will cover that immediately after the Quicklings).

Here Goes

OA against Q1 19+15+1=35 (Damage: 9+8=17)

OA against Q2 19+6+1=26 (Damage: 9+1=10)

I'm not going to use Parry and Riposte.

I think I'll end up where I started I3.

HP: 69/97
Healing Surges: 11/12
Action Points: 0/1
