D&D 5E What direction do you want to see D&D 5e go?

After the Monster Manual and the Dungeon Master's Guide WotC hasn't dropped any hints on what is to come next. I'm personally hoping that 5e will focus on settings and deluxe adventures. I wouldn't mind seeing a few optional rule books (eg psionics), but for the most part I sincerely hope the design team stays away for splat books. It seemed like toward the end of 3.5 ' s live we saw such a huge rule and option bloat that the DM had to sit down before a campaign started and decide what he or she would allow from all the various splatbooks.

Adventure modules, I guess. Scourge of the Sword Coast and Lost Mine of Phandelver are pretty decent. Dead in Thay and Tyranny of Dragons suffered too much from the constraints of OP.

Actually, there's my answer right there. I want WotC to make adventures that aren't for OP. Unfortunately, their plan seems to be the exact opposite of what I want.

What is OP?

Actually they've dropped some pretty big hints. They've talked about a focus on big stories, they've said they want every release to be a big deal, and they've just announced a new adventure path with tie-in splat book (albeit through a third party). Their direction seems pretty clear right now...

I want to see some of the old setting brought back - Greyhawk, Ravenloft, Planescape, Spelljammer. I wouldn't mind seeing new rules for settings (e.g. Warforged and Artificers for Eberron), but I don't want to see the market inundated with books offering new class and races just for the sake of more powers and more options.

I want good adventures. Not only good adventure paths, but good stand alone 32 p. adventures that I can run as a part of my own campaign.

Also, I don't want books that create more options for archetypes already covered by the PHB, I want books that expand the game in different directions and allow me to play a different kind of D&D. When I look at settings like Forgotten, Greyhawk, Mystara and Dragonlance, even recognizing that each of them has its own cool stuff, what I'm seeing is various takes on the same kind of fantasy, and I don't need anymore of that. I want Planescape, Dark Sun, Ravenloft and Eberron. I want Arabian, Oriental and Seafaring adventures. I want Psionics and Book of Nine Swords.

I'll own and use the three core rulebooks of 5E, they've managed to sell me 5E as my new D&D of choice, but if they want to sell be anything after that, I hope they have something else besides one hundred ways to save Forgotten Realms from this week's menace.

Otherwise, the three core books may end up being my first and last 5E purchase, which would be a shame, because I believe the new ruleset has great potential for the kind of book I want to buy.

My best guesses:
A new "Golden Age" Forgotten Realms full-setting boxed set seems a given.

A complete "Worlds of D&D" setting manual with cursory looks at Dragonlance, Greyhawk, Eberron, Dark Sun and Ravenloft (at the least). Including, but not limited to, class and race variants, significant NPCs, new spells, expanded/full deity lists, etc... for those worlds.

A full "5e Manual of the Planes"' which, I anticipate, will basically be/serve as the Planescape setting book.

Wishlist?
A full 5e "Deities & Demigods".

A "Psionics Manual" that is divorced from Dark Sun.

Complete line (none of this 1 or 2 a year) of well-written/fun adventures. Putting out 1 "adventure path" that's all about the Drow, let's say, does me no good if I'm not interested in running a Drow adventure! A half-dozen solid adventures (doesn't have to take me 1-20 in a single publication!) or, better, 1 a month, would be great.

I want them to update and convert old classic modules to 5e. Not just a stat conversion; some of those old modules had great stories and scenarios, but were poorly organized and badly written. Others are a little "sparse" and could use more plot elements.

I want my children to play Isle of Dread and Keep on the Borderlands and Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth and not struggle with lousy usability.
