Tough choices. This should be interesting. Good luck to all the entrants, except the ones I don't like. :)

I'm just replying to get this back up on the list.

I missed the first posting. :(

Also, a little surprised that Kara Tur didn't make it. Not surprised at all that Lankhmar didn't, even though it was runner up in survivor. Just flying under the radar...
Yeah, Kara-Tur only got 1 vote. I'm a little surprised, but only a little. The trappings of the setting always seemed more popular rather than its actual design in terms of places and NPCs.

That's true. To be honest, I don't give a flying fig about Kara Tur (the place). But I love OA-style D&D, and have ever since 1e OA was published.
That's why I called out Kara Tur as originating in 1E OA. I really consider the Realms version as separate from the OA version. It just happens to be a name.

Still, I was pleased that the cut-off was cleanly between the 2s and the 1s. When saw the tally, I was initially very concerned I was going to have to make a judgement call.

Having run variations on polls, brackets, and survivor threads, I have found polls/brackets with a time frame suffer from the problem that if they are not bumped occasionally (or have a lively discussion), they are not noticed.
Probably a good idea. Results so far are... not what I expected.
