D&D 5E ForgedAnvil D&D 5E Character Generator

I just tested this and, for me, the Arcane Tradition choices are usable. What is not selectable is the rename field, which was noted a few posts ago. Next build should have that corrected.
My bad. The field doesn't "light up" to indicate that it's active. I didn't realize you can still make a choice. False alarm!

Hey ForgedAnvil,

You have an INCREDIBLE character sheet. Thank you for all your hard work!

One thing I found in using it is that the Wizard's Arcane Tradition drop down seems to be protected and I can't figure out how to change the selection. Steps to reproduce: Enter any value greater than 300 into the XP box, select Wizard for you class levels 1 and 2, and find Arcane Tradition still locked. I have tried selecting Wizard all the way up to level 20 to see if it ever unlocks, but that didn't seem to be the case either.

I haven't found any other issues, so keep up the great work!

Thanks, great to hear your enjoying the tool :)

I noticed something today that I haven't seen posted, but correct me if I am wrong. I created a custom Scourge Aasimar (from Volo's) and added the Damage Resistance (necrotic and radiant), but when I looked at CS I under Damage Resistance they were "squished" together with no space or comma between them. I had to add a space to Damage Resistance #2 with necrotic in #1 and radiant in #3 to get them to look correct. Nothing major, just a minor nuisance.

Thanks for your hard work.

Thanks form the feedback, bug found for custom race 2 and 3 (doesn't occur in custom race 1). Fixed in the next build!

Are you observing the same issue with cells not highlighting when they should?

If by "light up" he means becomes pale yellow instead of white and the "Select..." text goes from grey to black, then 2010 is "lighting up" just fine for me. Just was wondering if there was something that I should have noticed but didn't.

Hiya FA, did some gaming yesterday with the latest beta, spotted a couple more minor issues:

On the Start sheet: in the Additional Damage Resistances section, 'force' damage is not listed in the dropdown. (I got a Brooch of Shielding)

On the Adventurers Log sheet: there's a little filter button to show more pages of log lines. I'm unable to activate that button. The mouse cursor changes when I get over the button, but clicking doesn't do anything. (Aa-ha! Just played with it some more, and I can click it if I Unprotect the sheet)

Also a feature request: On the Start sheet under Attacks, you list all the major weapons, and also several stat-based spell attacks. But I find myself entering the same cantrip-based spell attacks over and over as I build more characters, so it might be nice to just list them in the dropdown along with weapons. Attacks like Fire Bolt and Shillelagh seem like good candidates for this section. You could start with just the ones that are most weapon-like (Shillelagh, Green Flame Blade, Booming Blade) and leave the more spell-like ones until later (Fire Bolt, etc)

Edit to add:
Ok, another bug on Character Sheet III (Spellcasting), the filter for displaying Prepared & Ritual spells isn't giving me an option for Ritual spells anymore. I know that works on beta 2, but not seeing it on beta 5. Using a 7th level Conjuration Wizard as my test subject. Edit: Digging deeper, looks like the function in column AX next to each spell is looking for the "R" character, but it's now comparing it to the translated label in AX32 and thus failing to find a match.

Also, this same wizard has a Wand of the War Mage +1, which provides a +1 to spell attack rolls. I'm unable to locate an override to the Attack Modifier shown on the top of Character Sheet III (Spellcasting), it's nicely computing my Int & Prof bonus, but I'd like to add the +1 somewhere.
