D&D 5E MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

My character just obtained the ability to Animate Dead. Is there a way to add in the ability to have Skeleton and Zombie as selectable on the Compantion page?

Also, how do I select to remove or add individual sources from the sheet? If I only want to add in the Eberron stuff from UA, for instance, I have to add the entire UA selection and then go remove the excess stuff in the buttons below. Why can't I just select to add the Eberron stuff by itself?
All undead minions that can be created with magic, like the Skeleton and the Zombie, are available on the Companion page already, just use the drop-down box in Race to find them. You can also just write "Skeleton" or "Zombie" into the race field on the companion page and see the stats be filled out automatically.

You can add the source one-by-one using the ">" button. Just click on the line that says "Ebberon (UA:E)" and press the ">" button and you will see only that source be added to the "Included in the automation" list.

The spell description for Expeditious Retreat might be better worded as "You can take the Dash action now and as a bonus action." The key difference is the "now" since it affects the current bonus action used to cast the spell. I also removed the "for the duration" since none of the other concentration spells are worded in such a way.
Good idea! I have changed it to "You can take Dash action now, and as a bonus action for the duration" for the next version. Although you are right that "for the duration" isn't there for the other concentration spell, I think it fits well in this description for clarity, and because the description is very short anyway. Thanks for the suggestion!

To do for Artificer:
* On the Companion page, add the pull-down type of "Mechanical Servant".
* On the Companion page, add the Companion Options sub-menu for Artificer, selecting large beasts with challenge rating 2 or less. That list consists of about 31 creatures in the Monster Manual (2 dinosaurs, and then the rest in the Miscellaneous Creatures appendix). I assume that there are a few more floating around the various other sources.
* On the Spells sheet, when modifying a spell entry, there is no menu for Artificer spells.

  1. I don't know what you mean, do you mean the text on the top left, the dropbox where you can select stuff like "Familiar" and "Mount"? I will assume you do mean that. Unfortunately the words "Mechanical Servant" are too big for that field. I use "Servant" in my code instead. Note that you can fill out anything you want in that field, you are not limited by the options presented (as is true with all drop-downs on the sheet).
  2. The menu does include an option for the "Mechanical Servant" on the companion page. However, due to a typo (!== instead of ===), the sheet was only adding this option when the UA:A source was NOT included. I have fixed this in the next version to do the exact opposite, as originally intended;
  3. This is something that is a lot of work and I had scheduled for the next version, so it is coming, it just might take a little while!

Feature request: It would be nice to have an armor section for the companion sheet.
I will add it to the list of feature request!

However, I am going to have to manage expectations as I don't see me adding this feature at all. The companion page is intended for simple companions, like animals and familiars. Those don't require the full-on approach for calculating AC and reserving a big chunk of space for the AC calculation is something that will only benefit a tiny part of the companions normally used by PC's. If a companion is this complex that it will require a complete armour section, I would normally recommend my players to start a secondary character sheet for their companion.

When Importing my Storm Sorcerer with the Acolyte background into the new PDF release, all looked good except it lost the "Primordial" language, replacing it with "+2 for Acolyte". I saved the original, if you're unable to reproduce it.
I am assuming you were using the "Import Direct" feature, and not importing an .xfdf file. I have tried a couple of things, but I'm unable to reproduce this error. It would be really helpful if you could send me your original sheet. Did you import anything into that original sheet, or was that created from scratch? Also, what operating system and version of Adobe Acrobat do you use?

What the sheet does when using the "Import Direct" function, is to recreate the sheet from the ground up. So it adds your chosen background and lets all the automation do its thing. So it adds the language "+2 for Acolyte". Then, the sheet looks at the value of the language/tools fields in your old sheet and compares them with the tooltips in your old sheet. If the language mentioned in the tooltip doesn't equate the language in the field, it will assume it has been altered manually (as it was in your case, I'm assuming, from "+2 for Acolyte" to "Primordial"). If it has been altered, it will try to alter the same thing in the new sheet in the same way. Any of these steps could be where the sheet has failed, but it is hard to determine which with a dry test.

My thinking is that the companion page would also be used for horses and larger companions, and I would suspect that most people get barding (armor) for them -- I know that I do! Though, it's no big deal since the AC field is manually editable.

I didn't see the various mount accessories (saddles, barding, etc.) and vehicles (cart, rowboat, etc.) and the various horses listed in the gear section. I understand that is probably beyond the line of what to add to the project, but thought I'd mention it in case it is somewhere non-obvious.

It would be nice if the "Common Attacks" section on the first page had the various Artificer features choosable, such as Alchemical Fire, Alchemical Acid, Thunder Monger, etc. After all, those are essentially cantrip attacks that will make up 75% of an Artificer's attacks.
