OOC: If he normally preps create water then it makes sense to swap it out, but I mean that I can do it as well, in case we need him to heal people.

In the safety of the cave, Erevan finds a spot to rest, tucking his legs underneath him to meditate in the elven way. After several minutes have passed, his trance is suddenly disrupted by dreams, nightmares perhaps, and he mutters softly, tensing and jerking his head to the side as if startled. After a few minutes, he seems to calm down again and stays that way for the rest of his trance.

Until he awakes with a start, and an outcry of "Glabbagool!"

Embarrassed, the elf whispers an apology to any whom he might have woken, before gazing around the cave. There is... how could he describe what he knows to be there? A presence, benevolent, watching them, attempting to make contact.

Finding ancient racial memories within himself that he never knew he had, Erevan begins chanting old Elven words of arcane power, the fingers of his left hand going through motions they never had but certain they are correct, his other hand finding spell components from the pouch they had recovered from the drow outpost and scatters them around. The ancient spell is a calling, a summoning of spirits to guide an arcanist, a friend to trust and keep close.

The spirit comes forward, hesitant at first, but fully submitting to the magic now. With his words, Erevan focuses the entity; with the component, he gives it form and substance; with his gestures, he binds it to himself.

After an hour or so has passed, Erevan stops his spell. Letting out a sigh, the elf opens his eyes, looking for...

A slender feline form stands before him, completely black with a slightly purple sheen to its fur. Its eyes are milky white, reminding Erevan of jelly. The cat stares at him.

"Glabbagool?"

A rush of words and images comes into the elf's head, and for a moment he is disoriented. After several moments have passed, Erevan nods, sorting through the information his new familiar related to him by their mental connection. A smile appears on his face, and the elf hugs the cat, who clearly does not know what to do and just hangs in his arms.

"So glad you can come along now. Let's tell the others!"

Erevan gets up and moves back to the group, seeing if anyone is awake. "Guys, we need to move soon. The drow are on our tails."

While you are resting you are finally able to look through Ploop's treasure trove:

You are stunned to see how many coins the old fish-priest had. You recognize a few coins from various surface civilizations (current and former) but many are strange and obviously very ancient coins from what can only be very alien cultures. They come in many shapes. Some have faces on them (duergar, drow...is that a squid? or an illithid?)

There are 500 cp, 2000 sp, 145 gp and 26 pp. You can divide this up however you like. At this point, I think you have more than enough coins to start just tracking the gp value of it rather than specific coins but that is up to you and how you want to track it. You have just found 610 gp worth of coins if you'd rather track it that way.

There is also two healing potions, potion of water breathing, and a spell scroll of light. And the crowning jewel of Ploop's collection: a strand of 20 matched pearls that is worth 1,000 gp.

Quite a haul...you'll have to figure out how you want to divide it.

Ezraen casts a glance at Erevan in concern, but at the mention of the drow, he sets to getting everyone up and moving to the boats. With precision learned from years as a burglar working in teams, he sets to everyone to task.

OOC: Glabbagool can fill you in more with what he saw.

So...since Erevan has a mental connection with his familiar and thanks to Drum you all have connections to each other, what do you think of Glabbagool being able to talk to you all when Erevan allows?

OOC:
Treasure log updated in Google Sheet.

Instead of going back and forth to try to figure out who is on what keelboat, I added a sheet to the google sheet that you can use to track where things are. Any combats will be theater of the mind but it will be good to know who is on what boat.

I actually would have no problem with putting all three PCs on one boat and the other two boats just sort of fading into the background...but whatever seems like the most fun or makes the most sense to you is fine by me.

I am fine with that, if Erevan is. :)

OOC: Erevan would prefer to have the option of privacy between him and Glabbacat, so although I think it's a good idea this time, I don't know if he has possibilities to select information going to Drum?

Either way, Erevan will share what Glabbagool told him about the drow.

Edit: I saw you specifically wrote "when Erevan allows", so I assume he has control over the flow of information? In that case, I'm completely in favor.
