From the other side of the room:

"Maybe we can stop this mascarade now and cut the talking. Listening to talkers makes me hungry. I stoped giving attention some times ago, so I don't even know who you really are. The only thing I want to know is this: do you want to be part of it? Or do you prefer rather just sit there drinking your wine?... sir.

For a second a hint of what could have been rage crossed the face of Hego, but the look quickly passed and the friendlier expression returned.

“You know that’s what I’ve always liked about Gnolls, you get to the point.” Hego chuckled softly before continuing, “I want in, while on the whole Verity is useful to the Alliance and to this City under Tomas it has become a hindrance to my work. I want him out and if you are looking to remove him, I may be able to help.”

Djahakar approaches slowly still talking. He doesn't cross the red line to not trigger the guards intervention but while Lord Hego is sitting behind his desk, Djhak overwhelm him by his full height.

"We can assure you Thomas days are counted, so you'd better brace yourself for this development. We don"t want to interfer with your business or wipe out your pawns. So, for a win win situation, from now on keep them at bay. Now tell us what you know about him and you will have a swift and flawless eviction."

After a few moments of pure astonishment at Boros's reply Lothoc finally snaps back to his senses as he hears all Hugo's own goals.
With a sigh of relief he relaxes his shoulders and raises his hand and starts rubbing his neck.
"Glad thats over with, I always hated these facades. So I'm glad we can speak honest to eachother for now."

he then leans forward abit and awaits Hugo's reply

Djahakar can see what appears to be a flicker of blue lightning flying from Hego’s pupils to the edge of his iris. The flash was only there for a second.

“I can tell you all what you’ve probably been told already,” Hego says with a smile as he leans back in the chair, “but let us cut to the case, as Djahakar wants.”

“Reign Tomas has long coveted a family heirloom of mine. It resides in the crypt of my forefathers. It is an amulet of two dragons chasing each other one breathing fire, the other ice.”

Hego stat upright and looked over to Kaleban, “And more than that, all of Verity and most of the people of importance in this city know that Reign has always coveted the amulet.”

“Now if it was known that someone broke into my family’s crypt, and then Reign was found to be in possession of his coveted amulet, well I don’t think Verity would wait for a trial before expelling him from the order.”

With a quick look over to Lothoc and Boros Hego concluded, “The break in would have to be genuine and the amulet would have to be planted on Reign, but I’m sure it would work.”

Hego nods to at his guest, “There is a shift change at 6 in the evening, the evening shift is usually staffed by newer recruits. Also it will probably be in all of our interests if we don’t share that this meeting took place.”

GM:
It is around 3 in the afternoon, when the meeting ends. Let me know if you want to scout out the crypt, go back to the hotel and plan, or if you want to do something else.
