D&D 5E What character sheet do you use?

Two parts to this one.

1) Do you use the default PHB sheet or some vanilla form-fillable version of it? This is the poll and is a broad brushstroke. Note that I'm making some assumptions about why folks might choose certain sheets. I'm also sure that there are multiple factors for a lot of folks please choose the primary determinant. Also:

Anything that looks like the WotC sheets counts as WotC, regardless of where you got it.

2) What, exactly, do you use? There are more options than I could put on the poll and I'd hate to miss any that were super cool. Do share.

To answer my own question, I use MPMB's fully automated sheet and actually paid for it. My main reason for selecting that specific sheet is that it's gorgeous. I like the automation, too, but it's the aesthetics that grabbed me.

I loathe the way the PHB sheet looks and I'm not sure I could go back to it. It's actually something I really, really struggling with in trying to figure out what to do with DnD Beyond.

I too did that, but I use the printer friendly one so voted WotC (PHB or Variant).

Yes. I'd meant to clarify that. For purposes of the poll, it doesn't matter who "wrote" it. If you're using Orcpub, it's still "WotC because automation" (presumably that's what would drive the decision to use Orcpub.

Do you have a formal layout or just kinda wing it? Basically, is the Word doc something you could publish, if you cared to?

I use the The Clean Sheet (hosted here on EN World) - it's clean and simple, easy on printer ink, and each version automates more and more of the process. So far it's exactly what I want.

I roll handdrawn sheets on graph or lined paper, and experiment with different layouts each time. The Wizards' sheets haven't really clicked with me, and i'm not a fan of PDF or spreadsheet set-ups, but I haven't found the perfect one yet.

In the last game I played, I used an index card. There's not a lot that needs to be written down.
