Adisakti looks at Taylar...what were you doing when you touched the ground back there, before we fought the spiders
Taylar shrugs as he replies, "I was feeling the ground to determine if there were any vibrations indicating that something was beneath us and attempting to burrow up and surprise us. I don't believe in 'good luck' rituals. And in case you didn't know, maldrog can speak to stones and the rock at the edge of town would really like it if you stopped kissing it. It said it doesn't rain often enough to wash the smell away." Taylar lets out a loud laugh at his joke.
Should we just go in as a group along our path here, or should we send Maka up ahead to scout it out while the rest of us flank the area ahead, two to a side?
Taylar says, "We can send Maka a little ahead to make sure it's not a trap, but regardless of whoever is using that fire we are going to engage and at least speak with them, right? I mean, there's no one else out here, we might as well, and if they're not the ones we're looking for then we can at least warn them of hostile people in the area. I say we go in as a group."
