You may correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that in Islam, Jinn are people who were made of smoke, the way that humans are created from dirt. They do have some magical ability beyond what humans do, but they also live in their own, sort of parallel world. There are good ones and bad ones, as they vary about as much as humans. And yeah if I’m not mistaken Satan is one of them, though I could be wrong about that.

Satan is actually supposedly the greatest among them.

Also smokeless flame.

Also yes. They are kinda like a paralel race to humans. But in many ways they are spirits. In many ways they are similar to angels and demons. Really kind of a type of them. They just arent declared demoms (generally) in islam. Doesnt mean they would not be categorized that way in a broad sense. Broadet than single religion viewpoint.

Sorta like how although a catholic wpupd not likely say it major saints are basically classifiable in a wider context as demigods of a sort.

I suppose it would depend on how you define Demigod. They revere the saints and believe they are closer to God, but they have no power in and of themselves. But again, a lot of it is in the definition of words.

Kinda, the word jinn means ‘unseen, undetectable by human senses’ so in the general context Angels and demons are jinn though they are not Jinn.

Jinn are a people created from smokeless fire who predate Adam. They are male and female and have children and lives and can die. A good number of them also converted to Islam. Jinn can also possess people causing sleep paralysis. For a western comparison they are probably more a kin to Celtic Sidhe (fey) and indeed probabaly have a similar origin as they remnants of pagan dieties reduced in power but not considered demons. Though folkloric renditions sometimes conflated the too.

Also Iblis isnt really equivalent to the Christian Satan, as he is still a servant of Allah, just one who refused to honour Humanity

Well i was careful to not use the word "equivalent". He is a very similar figure though. Undeniably.
