The djinn are still basically in spite of minor differences an islamic type of demon. And read about ibliss. Its basically an islamic satan (or shaitan) type of figure (or very similar)

If you said they’re similar to angels and demons in biblical apocryphal text, I’d see your point, but they aren’t.

Ghul is closer to what most of us think of as a demon.

Djinn are just magical spirit people. Keyword for this exchange being people, which demons inherently are not.

Im not "most of us".

They are pretty similar imo. But then again, i dont have a strictly standard measuring stick.
