D&D 5E Exploring Eberron Cover

Keith Baker has shared the cover (by Thomas Bourden) of his upcoming Exploring Eberron, which will be available in PDF and hardcover on the DMs Guild. (I know he's posted it before, but this is a nice rendering of the hardcover).

There's no trademark on that font? Anyone can mimick DnD covers?
If it's on the DMs Guild, yes. That's the whole selling point of the DMs Guild -- you can use WotC's IP and trade dress. In exchange, they take 50% of your sales, promote some of your competitors above you, and require perpetual exclusivity. It's a deal that works for some folks! I personally prefer Kickstarter and the OGL, but plenty of peoples' mileage varies! :)

If you're Keith Baker and want to make an Eberron book, DMs Guild is the only option for you.

At one time, using WotC's trade dress was strictly prohibited under the DM's Guild terms & conditions. They either removed that clause or stopped enforcing it. I'm not sure which.
