Thinking through it some more, why not just disentangle the Slasher/Crusher/Piercer feat from the weapon types? Each feat is fine on its own, but there's no reason you couldn't force somebody back with a piercing weapon, or deal extra critical damage with a crushing weapon, or whatever.

I suppose, as written, it kind of prevents you from stacking them. But whatever.

I like these a lot, except for the gun one. I’m fine with there being a Feat to gain proficiency with firearms, but that Feat shouldn’t allow you to ignore the loading property on them. I’m fine with removing the disadvantage for attacking with them in melee, but the ignore loading is too much, IMO.

Yeah, if nothing else the critical hit effects seem like they’d be cool additions to the base crit rules.

I saying combining the Slasher/Crusher/Piercer with the UA Weapon Mastery Feats might add on or compliment them somewhat.

Yes. I've been saying for months that Xanathar's 2.0 will be Planescape or at least planar in theme. This, the subclasses, and the summoning spells pretty much confirm this suspicion for me.
Based on the alternate class features UA added to what's here, I'm not convinced the next book will have any real theme at all. Straight XGtE 2.0. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
