Just finished watching it and it was awesome. Soon as a single X-Wing showed up, I knew it was Luke. Super cool watching him cut through the dark troopers.

The bit after the credits was cool too, Book of Boba Fett coming next year!

Don't get me wrong. I've been really enjoying this series. Best Star Wars content since Rogue One!

Yeah on a tier list this would be up there with Rogue One and Rebels for me. Probably put it ahead of RotJ.

Same. And yes, it was fun watching him carve through them. Really shows the power of a Jedi Master in the context of this mostly Jedi-less show.

The more and more I think about it, the more I think the book of Fett will be season 3, it fits in with the way Disney does ensemble pieces, we get Mando, then Fett, followed by Bo Katan, all leading up to the grand finale of them teaming up to free Mandalore

Trying to work out the order of material strength. Lightsabers cut down dark troopers. Blasters bounce off beskar. Lightsabers also bounce off beskar. Beskar spears dark troopers.

blaster -> dark trooper -> lightsaber -> beskar

I think that works?

I loved this episode. Best thing Star Wars since Return of the Jedi, IMO.

Moff Gideon's still alive, so he'll surely be coming back in later seasons. Probably to create Snoke with the Grogu blood he collected during this time.

I'm thinking next season will revolve around Mando with the Darksaber and the politics of Mandalore. I can't wait for some action with Din Djarin wielding the Darksaber. That's gonna be sick.

Grogu has to appear sometime in the next season, IMO. He's the main draw to this series. (Also, he needs to survive Order 66 2.0. Disney wouldn't murder a/the Child, would they?)

EDIT: It would've come across as too fan servicey and probably not fit the vibe of the scene, but I think it would've been interesting if Luke had identified himself as a Skywalker only to have Bo-Katan be like, "Are you any relation to Anakin? I fought with him during the Clone Wars ..."

She never fought with Anakin, though. Bo-Katan appeared in 3 arcs and one other episode of the Clone Wars:

• Episode 4.14 "A Friend in Need" -- she fights Ahsoka when she causes trouble for Death Watch
• Episodes 5.15-5.16 (Maul's Shadow Collective Arc) -- she works for and then rebels against Maul, and helps out her sister Satine and later Obi-Wan Kenobi in escaping Maul.
• Episodes 7.05-7.08 (Ahsoka's Walkabout Arc) - she spies on and then confronts Ahsoka with a request for help to reclaim Mandalore
• Episodes 7.09-7.12 (Siege of Mandalore Arc) - she works with Ahsoka and half of the 501st to capture Maul and reclaim Mandalore

In all of these cases, she never works with Anakin. The closest she comes to it is when he's going to help with Mandalore but then has to bail to save the Chancellor from Grievous a la Episode III. I wouldn't be surprised if the name Skywalker meant nothing to her, while Kenobi meant a lot.

Well overall better than season 1. Only two "dud" episodes (2&7) and they weren't that bad.
