D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

Bastion is smarter than any Wizard and infinitely more manipulative than any Wizard. It is easier for the Sorcerer to create a fight between Wizards than for them to unite against Bastion.
That is your story and you are sticking to it? Remember, you are no longer in the vacum hovering 723 feet above the battlefield. and you no longer have the ability to wait for a single wizard to come after you every couple of days. After the bodies start stacking up, they will start hunting you. Additionally, you have to actively hunt them because all the low hanging fruit will already be dead or have gone to ground. Plus, they are no longer restrained by the ridiculous rules of no magic items, no multiclassing and no hired minions.

And again, The Bastion assassinations are subtle and silent. The Wizards are screwed.
Your Bastion has an INT of 10. The DMM has an INT of 17--and cannot learn.

I don't think you can perma-kill even one 20th-level wizard.

I'm pretty sure someone is screwed, yes, but I don't think it's the wizards in this scenario.

Stats 10 or 20 mean absolutely nothing. What determines things are skill checks.
The Sorcerer can have 22~32+1d4 in every skill. With Magical Guidance, Trance of Order and Advantage.

Even with pure Intelligence check +0 int check vs Wizard's +5 Int check. The Sorcerer is smarter, because he is a magical creature and Sorcerer's Magical Guidance makes him smarter (Better Int check) than a Wizard with 20 Int. The difference is obvious, The Bastion is clearly superior and smarter by a large largin

" but I don't think it's the wizards in this scenario."

I beg to disagree

Just keep telling yourself that.

We can play this out in Roll20, I am sure we can round up a DM and 6 players. Your job will be kill a single PC Wizard before the end of the game, you must play this character as is, and at least one of the other players must play a wizard. The other rules can be worked out later. Are you up to it Hohige?

6x1?

Yes, this is what I am saying, you are no longer in your sandbox, you are out in a real campaign world, actually having to follow through with your plans for world domination. Once the bodies of high profile wizards start showing up, do you think the wizards will just sit and take it? Heck no, they will find a way to hunt you down or lure you in. These guys smart, resourceful and motivated. This is why I don't think any single 20th level character built in a vacuum could take over a world like the Forgotten Realms. These 1x1 fights are meaningless.
