D&D 5E 20th level Sorcerer vs the world

The Bastion and its Simulacrums have an Unbeatiable Stealth check. 36 ~ 46 + 1d4, magical guidance, advantage.. You roll once and remain hidden until revealed.
From the DMG:
The DM decides when circumstances are appropriate for hiding. When you try to hide, make a Dexterity (Stealth) check.Until you are discovered or you stop hiding, that check's total is contested by the Wisdom (Perception) check of any creature that actively searches for signs of your presence. You can't hide from a creature that can see you clearly, and you give away your position if you make noise, such as
shouting a warning or knocking over a vase. An invisible creature can always try to hide. Signs of its passage might still be noticed, and it does have to stay quiet. In combat, most creatures stay alert for signs of danger all around, so if you come out of hiding and approach
a creature, it usually sees you. However, under certain circumstances, the DM might allow you to stay hidden as you approach a creature that is distracted, allowing you to gain advantage on an attack roll before you are seen.

Hiding is DM fiat as you say.

Do you know why? Because Wish or Divine Intervention is the DM that decides the real effects, not the player.

If you don't know what means DM fiat, It's. The DM chooses the real effect of your spells/abilities.
It's, wish, divine intervention, wild surge.

I will repeat, without DM this game does not exist. No skill check. DM fiat spell as Wish: "I won", Divine Intervetion "I won" or receive any information. Did you understand what I say about DM fiat?

If you use any spell/ability the DM has to choose the effects in your favor. Cry. I will not speak the obvious again.
So the fictional DM allows you to hide because he deems circumstances are OK for you to hide and remain hidden anywhere you walk even in plain daylight in the middle of an empty room, etc.... He also allows your sorcerer many things that would never see the light of day in a normal D&D game.
And as soon as someone else tries something reasonable that relies on DM judgement you cry at DM fiat. How do you want to be taken seriously....

Your 9th level spell slot depends on the situation but if you cast it at the begining of the day you don't have access to wish anymore and that is important. It's easy to say it depends on the situation!
Who told you that I'm going to use this earlier in the day?
Depends of situation.

If It's plain daylight, It will be with subtle Invisibility and choose a better position.
The Bastion is versatile.

No one told me I just say that "Depends on the situation" is not an answer. You're claiming to hunt wizards....What do you do the day you start "hunting" them? Do you cast mind blank??

OH! I get it, if you want to use DM fiat, it is an automatic success, like being able to hide in plain sight standing 5 feet from your opponent with no cover. However, if anyone else wants to use DM fiat, that happens to use perfectly reasonable applications of a spell, it is an automatic win for you?

Subtle Invisibility and The Bastion is hidden at 5fts of the enemy.
