D&D 5E Sample adventure to test 5E in high level (15th) play. Any takers?

Like I said, I don't want to derail the experiment, so I'll pick one of the other feats. But I'd rather not multiclass if it's not something you feel really strongly about.

If a monster wants to use legendary resistance on viscous mockery - more power to it!

Seriously though, we can treat this a bit of a session 0 and reevaluate. Thanks for the opportunity.
Yeah, its just I noticed a lot of overlap, and most 'save or suck' spells that I see are save based, and rely on the target being not immune to the Charmed condition.

At 15th level that's a risky gambit to rely on to the exclusion of any damage dealing spells other than cantrips!

I also noticed a 'buff/ debuff' overlap between the Bard and the Cleric, with both PCs (and the Sorcerer) largely unable to deal any actual HP damage with their spells.

Meaning when it comes to HP damage, none of the casters can do any, and its the Rouge alone at present (plus the Fighter when we get one) trying to chew through HP.

Just putting it out there for those three PC casters to consider so they dont wind up sitting there twiddling their thumbs for several combat encounters unable to do anything due to spell selection and overlap!

No that's fine! I only suggested it as a better source of reliable 'off turn sneak attack'.

Im happy with your PC as is mate, I was just king enquiring about the feat is all, and ensuring you dont wind up with 'buyers remorse' by letting you know how it works. If you want it, keep it, if you dont then ditch it.

Sure, but keep in mind all sneak attack needs is for someone else to be next to the target. And all Sentinel needs is for them to attack someone other than the rogue. But it can get tricky.
That's just begging for someone to be an Ancestral Guardian barbarian.

And, I can swap to said Ancestral Guardian barbarian instead of my cleric if @Flamestrike thinks it would be a better balance for the party.

Im happy to run a Fighter if no-one else does (and honestly, it'll speed up encounters, having one less person to wait for each turn).

Which means at this stage we're looking at:

Battlemaster Fighter
Thief Rogue
Eloquence Bard
Draconic Sorcerer

And you, with a Cleric/ secondary melee role there for the taking (War cleric or Paladin in some kind of combo?).

Fighter-boi if it's still needed.

The magic items are off (there is a legendary and a rare) and it's ranged based.

We're looking for a melee fighter (or at least a competent switch hitter) because noone else is filling that melee role.

Hes hanging with 3 casters and a thief rogue.

Also, I'm very reluctant for 2 x stat 19 items to cover starting stats of 8. It's a little cheesy. 1 Max (you can pick which one).

+3 crossbow is very rare, not legendary.

Crossbow Expert lets you fire from melee, so there isn't much of a difference, he can stay in the front if we need someone to take hits.

There is a big difference in that there arent any AoO with a crossbow, and without you drawing the hits, the casters are going to get hit much easier.
