D&D 5E Masters of the Universe

Pauln6

Hero
Just finished watching Revelations (no spoilers) and find myself speculating about the characters. Some are more obvious than others - Evil Lynn appears to be a 17th level Illusionist, Teela a Battle-Master (10th - 13th level perhaps) and Orko appears to be a wild-magic sorcerer (he hasn't done enough in my 2002 re-watch yet for me to speculate on level).

I realise that D&D is not the best game to replicate super heroes or sci fi technology but I'm curious to know how some people might create recognisable versions of some of the other characters. Skeletor is probably a Bladelock (possibly with 2-3 fighter levels). Man-at-Arms and Tri-clops might be artificers? He-Man is probably best replicated as a barbarian with a magic item that activates a girdle of giant strength when he goes berserk (maybe also boosting constitution).

Any thoughts?

For He-Man, it's more that he has a Sword of Barbariankind, similar to the Belt of Dwarvenkind. It basically transforms him from an NPC-classed noble into a high-level barbarian, granting him the class abilities and the physical ability scores. Outside of that transformation he doesn't really possess any of those skills or capabilities - if I had to give him a 5e class in his untransformed form, he's probably a low-level bard.

I agree!
Adam is a noble.
He-Man is a warrior with class levels.

The upcoming Cortex RPG adaptation was already mentioned as well as the black sheep of D&D editions. It seemed like fair game to mention other games.
Ah, wasn't meant to shut you down! You responded to me. I was just exclaiming why my thoughts were specific to D&D. Heh.
