If a Plasmoid identifies as Male or Female, could they create breasts or other gender parts?
I mean they should be able too. IIRC, there are Oozes in DND that can mimic human beings so, it would make sense that said Oozes could do that to lure prey to eat. Likewise, if a Plasmoid decides to do that or feel that way, then sure. I mean, Certain Elves, according to 5E can change gender on a long rest. A Plasmoid could likely do the same.

Why the sam goody am I hearing people in the background crying about Dragonborn boobs now?

Seeing the new racial stat blocks is, frankly, not as annoying as I thought it would be.

These are things I would be keen to play, making this the best UA in quite a while.

Nit grit:
  • With the non-armour AC bonus, and the benefit from Mending, Autognomes would be very effective as a druid, counter-intuitievely (moon druid Transformer...).
  • Giff seem very underwhelming.
  • Hadozee get an innate climb speed and the effects of a Ring of Feather Falling. That's quite substantial.
  • Secondary arms Thri-kreen would, with even the strictest reading, seem to allow two-weapon fighting with two light weapons while wielding a shield.
  • Finally, after the speculation about what humanoids might lose that status in the new books, it's nice to see three examples of non-humanoids here. Maybe the gnoll will stay humanoid after all?

Can they not find a better name them then Monsterousities? it's like "hey Monsterousities, join our party" Thrikreen swears at you in Thrikeen "Soft skin, milk drinkers, go cut those mini tentacles you call hair! Your the Monsterousities you eggless freaks!".

Autognomes came first! The 2e monster entry comes with a list of possible malfunctions. Coz gnomes.
Oh, sure. I just meant that it seems to fill a very similar space, both conceptually and mechanically. Seems like a single ancestry that can be medium or small could cover both, and I could see this being a test run for potential anniversary edition changes.

They already did: Races that aren't Humanoid are now basically referred to, as a whole, as Fantastical Races.

Creature typing names are just specific words of such a demographic now.

I think I will add something on being able to take on gendered sex features in my feed back and I will encourage you folks to do so as well.

Well I think they can choose to be immunity to the death caused by Vorpal Sword if they choose not to have a head and I think they can just make a new arm or leg if one gets cut off.
Wow! That is....actually amazingly possible if we go by the strict language of the Vorpal Sword, or other things, official or 3PP, that have said that "If it can't survive without a head, then it dies."

Great detail that you have pointed out!

Still it's kind of weird way to refer to a none evil race. Even beasts would have been better.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing what Celestial, Fiendish, Aberration creatures they might do.

Playable Ooze is awesome, I already love Plasmoids.

If the autognome survives the UA fase and sees print, I'll probably hamebrew my warforgeds to be constructs with similar features
