Exactly. Bye.
So what.
okay then your opinions don't matter either. You don't get to discredit someone elses thought process then lay out your ownYour personal experience doesn't matter, though.
in a discussion of decoupling stat bonuses it sure does matterHaving gender stat differences adds far less to the game than it takes away, so it's good thing for it not to be there. It's apples and oranges compared to racial bonuses, though. This entire tangent has no relation to Tasha's and the discussion of racial bonuses.
I'm not expressing an opinion. I'm stating biological fact.okay then your opinions don't matter either.
again you could remove the stat intirely... str- give them +7 might bonus to hit and damage, and say they can carry extra weight... done. We just use Str as a short hand for those things. From a CR standpoint, sure, they just need to have that +7 and do a lot of damage. There are a lot of creatures that aren't strong that get +7 to hit and do damage without being big and strong. They don't have high strength. Giants have great strength because size and "strong" directly translates into strength scores going up.
you are trying to twist your opinion on stats as based on factsI'm not expressing an opinion. I'm stating biological fact.
Sure. And if a strength score doesn't actually measure how strong a creature is, you should just get rid of it. It serves no purpose and its existence is just confusing.again you could remove the stat intirely... str- give them +7 might bonus to hit and damage, and say they can carry extra weight... done. Did I miss a National Geographic episode where they revealed the D&D stats of animals?I'm not expressing an opinion. I'm stating biological fact.
sort of... I just want to make it JUST a measure of how strong you are and disconnect it from attack rolls personally...Sure. And if a strength score doesn't actually measure how strong a creature is, you should just get rid of it. It serves no purpose and its existence is just confusing.
