D&D 5E Wizard's Presents is coming August 18th

Buried in this massive mtg info drop (which reveals the 4 Warhammer Deck names, pr3view cards, some stuff about Double Masters 2022, and Dominaria United like DU getting Jumpstart Boosters, and the fact that Achemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate is getting 250+ cards), is that August 18th is Wizards Presents, where they detail upcoming stuff for 2023 and beyond, but like MtG presents sort of stuff from previous years, it will have D&D and other none MtG announcements as well, not just MtG announcements.

Well, August 16th is when Spelljammer releases, so this is about when they will want to start showing off the Dragonlance battle game and Adventure. It would also be a good time to roll out a Magic Setting, if they are rolling that out as a wildcard this year.

We might get more then just DL at Wizards Presents if Wizards Presents is this years MtG showcase, but for all of Wizards products and not just MtG.

We might learn what new and returning settings are coming next year & less likely 2024.

I'm really curious what Marathon Epilog is too. I think its tied to the new serting arc starting in Dominaria United.

I also wish Set Jumpstart Boosters had started with AFR or earlier, way more fun then Theme Boosters (although I did pull a Gold Span Dragon from a red Kaldheim theme booster).

I also expect it will have more D&D Honor Amoung Thieves and BG3 news.

Maybe they will through everyone for a loop and announce they are buying Games Workshop.

I cannot think of a possibly worse timeline.

Why?

Hasbro should start from zero with its own sci-fi franchise. Its marketing strategy is focused into family-friendly brands, and W40K is too Grimmdark.

"Hasbro" might be mostly family friendly, but WotC and Eone have a much broader product range then Hasbro. Darksun, Ravenloft, Amonkhet, 4e FR, Planescape, all and more can be as dark or darker and more adult then 40k. 40k might not fit Hasbro to a t, but it does it WotC to a t.
