In today’s Unearthed Arcana, we explore D&D character options from across the multiverse. This playtest document presents the glitchling race; the Fate Domain cleric subclass; and the gate warden, giant foundling, planar philosopher, and rune carver backgrounds. Additionally, a collection of new feats provide links to giants and other primordial forces of the planes, while a selection of new spells highlight the power of fate and chance.

More likely most will like it, a small amount will hate, and the rest will be in between.
I can guess where you will be.
Really hard to say what those percentages will be. Nice that you're feeling optimistic, but the prevailing wind in this thread alone is more negative than positive. I will say I could easily be wrong about the number of people who don't care that much and will just use what WotC and their DM put in front of them.

There is a thing called the vocal minority and reception has been much warmer in other places.

In previous UAs I was bothered by how weak some of these feats were but I see where they are going with it now. It’s mostly a flavor thing that you get for free at level 1 and sets you up for a story arc that completes at the end of Tier 1.

What could be interesting is if they do this again with Feats/Features that give you something small at the beginning of Tier 2, membership in a Faction for example, with a big payoff at the end of Tier 2 - running that Faction etc

You could probably have fine version a bariaur now just by changing the centaur's hoof attack to a horn attack and, I guess, changing the creature type.

Mix abilities from the Satyr and the Centaur, say 25% satyr (horns attack), 75% Centaur, done, doesn't even need playtesting. If they are feeling adventurous make it a Celestial creature type (native to upper planes).
