I would put more money on the lack of ideas on what to do with psionics as to why they would not do it.

I think they'd expand on the feats and maybe add more psionic subclasses when they create it, not sure they'll bother with a full psychic class, but backgrounds that expand on the psionic feats with their level 1/level 4 background feats I could see becoming a thing.

Can you spot the difference between fictional things that can't, don't, and have never happened in the real world vs factual things that have, did, and continue to happen in the real world?

People can't really get bent out of shape about life-sucking undead, because it's clearly fictional. People can and will get bent out of shape about depictions of slavery...especially if those depictions are in any way whitewashed.

I don't understand your seemingly leading question but...

I have never seen any significant fraction of people get pissed at having evil slavers in a game and people to free from slavery. Like, Game of Thrones? ETc etc.

On top of that, I'm half-black, and my dad is from Mississippi. Genology tests reveal that I descend straight from slavery. Why do white people think they can tell me that I can't RP uprooting slavery in my games, but its ok for me to kill children in my games? Do kids not get killed IRL? There's just so many problems with this view that I really can't wrap my head around it.

Can you show me any forum threads or twitter threads where people are pissed about uprooting slavery in a game? Even one? Or is this some strange hypothetical where people could be mad even there's no evidence, logical or otherwise, that they would be?

Also, there is literally wage slavery in the Radiant CItadel, and tyranny that forces people to obey strict codes of conduct they don't consent to, and so on. My own published setting, which was my first Kickstarter back in 2018 and did over 50K, has slavery as a prominent antagonist too. No one, literally no one, has ever told me that having slaver enemies was a problem. No fan nor customer. Its just bizarre that this argument comes up and people respect it when it has no basis in reality.

As we discussed, unfortunately WotC just isn't going to do it. Whatever spin a person might want to put on that, it's clear. You're going to have to turn to a third party to get what you want.
