2. A stronger ability to pulling material from 1.0a and updating it. Especially to allow older products to be referenced, including older SRDs.
The DnD Beyond FAQ about the OGL 1.2 mentions this:

Will additional content be added to the Creative Commons license and OGL 1.2?

Yes. We are looking at adding previous edition content to both the CC and OGL 1.2. We wanted to get this into your hands for feedback ASAP and focused on 5.1, but look for more content to be included throughout these discussions.

I like how they ask you each time your level of understanding, just like if they wanted to know if your comments were worth reading or not.
Tin Foil Hat: They're polling to see if they've pulled the wool over your eyes successfully and whether you REALLY understand the consequences.

Overall, I can't imagine all the fill-in comments are going to get looked at. There should have been more questions per section and subsection bullet point, with a little less space for a rant.

I filled mine out as honestly and diplomatically as I could until the last question. "What should we do?" got both barrels - leave the 1.0a alone (the polite version).

Also, they REALLY ought to strip out the Comic Book Authority clause after the Spelljammer rollback THEY had to do themselves. Even they can't get it right at times.

Well, I have submitted my survey.

I'm afraid I'm not at all hopeful though - in my experience, when a company (or government) has taken a decision they know will be unpopular, they run a consultation very much like this. So they send out surveys, and invite as many responses as possible. They then filter those responses, finding as many creative ways as they can to disregard responses that don't agree with what they've decided.

And then report the 'results': "We've been delighted by the response. We had X thousands of responses, and the feedback was broadly in agreement with our plans. We will make some further adjustments on specific points that were raised, and will publish our new and final version soon. Our sincere thanks to all those who responded."

Basically, the word 'consultation' has only three letters.
