Some people on these forums (and by "some people" I mean one person in particular whose every post seems to get my goat), love to create a hypothetical character capable of anything and everything they need to argue against your house rule or playstyle.

It's not so much the pushing against suggested rules to find holes or things that end up broken, but the assumption in doing that there is a singular way to play the game. You know, the folks who say things like, "Once combat starts movement hardly matters" and then refuses to listen to any suggestion that this not remotely true in your games.
