How do you know that?Nobody is going to be harmed by reading Dark Sun gaming material.

The trick is to carefully sculpt the meaning of the word "harmed." Do it right, and even shotguns can be considered "harmless."How do you know that?
We do have a broad range of media appealing to a range of tastes and sensibilities. It’s not realistic to rely on one publisher to supply it.
If you want to argue that someone has been harmed by Dark Sun, feel free. For those individuals who have suffered trauma or have other conditions making them prone to being triggered, well, it isn't the responsibility of everyone else to make sure they never run into something that might trigger them. It's on them to either avoid those things or work on waysd to cope with those issues. How do you know that?
sometimes I wonder if its just the word Slave thats at issue, if we were to use the term Helot or Thrall would it be more acceptable. Afterall the game already uses the idea of Vampire thrall without issue.
slave is a background, the biblical Joseph was sold to merchants, taken to Egypt as a slave then became both a seer and Vizier. Neither the merchants who traded him, nor his master Potiphar were evil.

I think they are courting folks more into anime/superheroes perhaps than fans of older fiction than they did before.
I assume they have determined that is where the money is…and it is—-just not much more of mine.
They have the license. DS fans probably (I'm guessing here) would like to have DS available on the DMsGuild I would think. Paizo doesn't have any licenses...But apparently they’re supposed to do new things by retreading the same old fantasy yet again that has been done a thousand times over the past century of genre fifiction.

You feel this strongly about all entertainment or does the banhammer only come down on minor hobbies? No. Actually it 100% is the responsibility of everyone to help people in need and be a positive force to help them “cope”. Your need to be entertained is far, far less important than easing someone’s pain.
It’s called compassion for a reason.
