How many people have to block you before you consider the possibility that you could be part of the problem?
The trouble is that for some people, blocking is the solution.

You see, if I convince myself that The Problem is people who disagree with me, then The Solution is to silence them...and the Block/Ignore feature can accomplish that. People might still disagree, but I won't see them and so The Problem will be solved to my satisfaction. I'll have my own tiny echo-chamber where everyone likes what I have to say and cheers me on, and I won't have to consider the thoughts and feelings of anyone else. All of those voices of dissent become this nebulous cloud of "Other People" that can be easily dismissed.

Growing up, I noticed my grandparents would only read certain newspapers because they wanted to hear certain things (and ignore others)...my grandpa would get hot under the collar if you tried to tell him about something you read in the Post or the Times. To this day my parents and siblings back home will only watch a certain specific news channel, because it gives them the narrative they want to see--they get angry when I contradict their "news" about the current events in Portland, for example. I guess it makes sense that, here on an RPG news site, some people would have that same antiquated behavior.
